I'm Lost In The World

Now that I'm not sick anymore, I finally feel like I'm on vacation and that I can have fun once and for all. The only problem though is my energy level. I went to a party the other day and I was exhausted by 9 and went home. I guess the mono will stick with me all summer, but I'll figure out techniques to keep some energy.

To come back to the subject, I'd like to warn you that I won't post anything this week because I'm going to R.'s cottage. I will take pictures, don't worry. I'm really excited about going! It'll be nice to be in "nature" again. I say nature quote unquote because I'm not going into the wild or anything, so I can take pictures of myself without looking like a wild unwashed monster. haha!

So this weekend, I did many things. Those things included bleaching my hair blonde again and cutting this lumpy dress to turn it into the fabulous item I wore on these pictures. I also went short seeking. I didn't find any, but I did try on these shorts with a rad Harley Davidson patch on it. If it fit I would of definitely bought it. It was so fetch!

It Drives You Insane

Hello there people! I'm officially on holiday! YAY! It feels so nice to be able to sit back, not worry about the time and hang out with friends whenever you feel like it. It's so nice that sometimes you might party too much and your body gets exhausted, and you get mono. That's exactly what happened to me. It stopped me right in my tracks, but I'm feeling already much better now. It'll probably last all summer so I'll have to take it easy, but that's fine. I've been so exhausted lately, it took me over a week to get the courage to post this. So here I am on a beautiful sunny day writing to you about my ailment. I don't think that's very interesting, so let's change the subject.

In the last two weeks I did a bunch of fun stuff, I hung out with friends, went window shopping and created an amazing outfit at the new Brandy Melville store, and I also attempted dying my hair pink. The hair didn't come out though, but I discovered that you have to wait 2 weeks before adding color to the newly bleached hair. "You're so smart Imogen!..." Also, my hair weren't very well bleached so there were a lot of dark spots on my head. What a failure... But I'm going to try this again later in the summer. In the meantime, I can think of other colors that might make my parents freak. haha!

I want to add one last little thing to this post, and that is congratulate the hero of the week: Wendy Davis. She proudly fought for the right to have abortions in Texas in a filibuster last Sunday. She was successful in cancelling the bill against abortion, but let's just say this is only the beginning.

I hope all of you guys are having a fabulous summer! I shall talk to you soon when my body is recovered enough to dress in something else than pjs.

I'm a 90's babe!

Lately I've been waking up motivated to be fab' and dress like a princess. Some might say the sunshine is affecting my behavior, but I think the clothes G. gave me and the movie Clueless are making me sassy. Let me explain. A few weeks ago, I was crying of despair every time I had to find a satisfying outfit to wear. Then suddenly, G. told me she had a whole bag of clothes to offer. I went through it not knowing what to expect and I found the cutest items. The one I'm wearing here is a hand embroidered angora cardigan/sweater. It is simply mind blowing! And to add to my wave of happiness, I watched Clueless... twice in two days... It is truly an awesome movie. At first you might think it's one of those stereotypical American movies, but I believe it was well thought. Firstly, the outfit were outrageous and fabulous and secondly, the movie laughs at the creation of stereotypes and actually include a few pro-feminist quotes which is kind of cool for a teenager movie. All and all, it is a hilarious movie I definitely want to own.

And if you aren't feeling great, go and watch the movie and you'll feel instantly fab'!

We're Up All Night 'Til The Sun

It's June! Everyone knows what that means: School is Almost over! Yay! Everything's so fabulous lately. I'm doing great, my friends seem to be doing good (are you?) and I have a great boyfriend. All these wonderful things are motivating me to do something with my life and have fun. Basically, I feel inspired to see people, to party, to dress up and to be creative. and to finish school. So anyways, here's an outfit I modified before taking pictures. I first wore it with a skirt, but it felt too dressy so I opted for an outfit that somehow reminded me of Patty McGee, the world champion skateboarder from 1965 when skateboarding was just beginning to exist.

Inspiration from the early years of skateboarding:

Shirt: Abercrombie & Fitch (I'm not proud of wearing this label..)
Shorts: Old Navy
Crown (of love!): DIY
Green Ring: Senegal
